Dr. Darlene Powell Garlington is a licensed clinical psychologist, certified school psychologist, media psychologist and renowned author of eight books published by Simon & Schuster, William Morrow and John Wiley. She has a master’s degree in Applied Behavioral Psychology from Adelphi University and a Ph.D. and second master’s degree in Clinical-School Psychology from Hofstra University. Dr. Darlene has been an Associate Professor at Hampton University in Hampton, VA., an Adjunct Professor at Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT, and has 20+ years experience in private practice.
